Billy Joe Cowans, 60, of Weirton died Wednesday June 12, 2019, at his home.
Born on August 9, 1958, in Cincinnati, OH, Billy was a son of the late Jesse and Virginia Armstrong Cowans. He was also preceded in death by eight brothers and four sisters.
Billy enjoyed life with his cheerful laugh. Some of his fondest memories were vacationing at the beach with family. He will always be remembered for the joy he had when spending time with his great niece and nephew, Ellie and Jarod.
He will be remembered with love by his wife of 19 years, Jennifer Mills Cowans of Weirton; his son, Billy Lee Cowans (Stacey); his grandson, Elijah Cowans; his brother, Paul Cowans (Charlene) all of Cincinnati, OH, several nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
A memorial service will be held 2PM, Sunday June 16, 2019 at the Colliers United Methodist Church, 318 Pennsylvania Ave Colliers, WV.
Rev. Scott Mapes will preside.
