Blaise Patrick Babinchak,43, of Weirton, passed away suddenly on Friday, March 4, 2022. Born October 3,1978 in Weirton, he was the son of the late John P. Babinchak and Kathleen Babinchak. Blaise was a 1996 Weir High School graduate. He also graduated in 2000 from ITT in Pittsburgh with an Associate Degree in computer aided drafting. Blaise enjoyed spending time with his beloved pets, especially his dog, Meeka. He loved all animals, hunting, fishing, playing pool or just being one with nature in the great outdoors. He liked riding his motorcycle down a quiet, country road. He loved and collected baseball caps of all kinds. In recent years, he began wood craft and wreath making. He crafted very unique creations. Blaise loved his family, especially his daughter, Ava, who was the light of his life. Blaise was a member of the Paris Sportsman Club. He is survived by his mother, Kathleen Babinchak; sister Monica (Carl) Chiarenza of Utah; daughter Ava Babinchak of Weirton; nephew and nieces Gaetano Chiarenza, Natalia and Emilia Chiarenza all of Utah; uncle Douglas Brier of Weirton ; Aunt Darlene (Michael) Doerfler of Pittsburgh; cousins Michael Brier , Stephen Brier , Curtis Mace, Danielle (Tim) Rowlands and Ed Doerfler. Friends and family will be received on Friday March 11, 2022 from 9-10:30am at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home ,3219 Main St. Weirton. A rosary will be said at 10:30am. A Catholic service will be celebrated on Friday at 11:00am. Monsignor Joseph Peterson will officiate. Masks and social distancing encouraged. The service will be on Facebook Live for any family or friends unable to attend. Interment will follow at St Paul Cemetery,Weirton. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Hancock County Humane Foundation at hancockhumane.org or juvenile diabetes research at www2.jdrf.org

This is written with a heavy heart. Your love was real, but the disease won. I had to leave you so I didn’t have to be the one to find you. We had so many great times together. May God be with you…. You are no longer chasing … you are now set free.
