Bobby J. Dodd, 55, of Follansbee passed away Monday August 24, 2009, at his home. He was born on May 18, 1954, in Paducah, KY, a son of the late Leo C. and Mary F. Smith Dodd. Bobby retired as a result of an industrial accident from the Weirton Steel Corporation, where he was a rigger in the Construction Department. In life, Bobby enjoyed spending time with his two grandsons. He was a member of the Saint Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church in Weirton. He is survived by his loving wife, Michaele Fancalski Dodd; a son, Jason Henwood of Rocky Mount, N.C.; a daughter, Danielle Henwood of Follansbee, WV; a brother, Charles W. and Debra E. Dodd of Weirton, WV; two grandsons, Joshua and Tyler; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 2-4 & 6-8 PM Wednesday at the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home 3219 Main Street, Weirton, WV 26062 Funeral Liturgy with mass will be celebrated 11 AM Thursday at the Saint Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, Weirton. Rev. Fr. Dean Borgmeyer will preside. Interment will follow at Saint Paul's Cemetery, Weirton, WV.   6. I’m so sorry to hear about Bobby. We were in Boy Scouts together, and after his accident, I had the honor of teaching him accounting at WVNCC. He was a fighter that never gave up, even after his accident.

  8. When I saw Bobby last he was smiling and relieved. He was going home. He had an act of presence and command that I have not seen before.   14. I just now found out of Bobby’s passing. I’m so sorry to hear of this. I have not seen or heard of Bobby for so long. I last saw him in the during the year following his accident. I always wondered how he was and how he progressed. Always a gentleman and kind person. Loved living his life prior to the accident. I’m glad he married and had a great family.
