Booker T. Curtis, Jr., 70, a resident of Sienna Woods Nursing Home in Wintersville, OH, passed away Monday, April 21, 2014. Born May 14, 1943 in New Castle, Alabama, he was a son of the late Booker T. and Thelma Car Curtis, Sr.
Booker was a construction worker and served in the United States Air Force.
Booker is survived by his former wife Marlene Brown Curtis; brothers Ronald Curtis of Atlanta, GA, Thomas Curtis of Center Township, PA, Jacklon Curtis of Wintersville, Jeffrey Curtis of Steubenville, OH and Wayman Curtis of Weirton, WV; sisters Shirley Curtis (Robert) Byrd of Weirton, Carla Curtis Ross of Lithonia, GA and Tracy Curtis (Mike) Veal of Weirton and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation and funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of Booker's family. Arrangements are being handled by Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, Weirton, WV.
