  7. I am so very sad to learn of Brandy’s passing. I taught at Weir High during the time that Brandy was a student there, and that is how we became friends. When she traveled the halls of Weir High and spotted me, she always had a big hello and an even bigger smile. When we had the time, she would share her hopes and dreams with me. I always loved listening to her and would try to encourage her. She called me a few years ago asking me to support one of her friends who was running for office in Weirton. I told her I would. She told me about her boyfriend who had passed away and how she was having difficulty accepting that God would take him from her. I told her that at times we just don’t understand the reasons for things that happen and that it is all part of a greater plan that someday we will know and understand. That is what I believe now about Brandi. God had a plan for her, and it was that she touched people’s lives because she was easy to love and befriend, and she made everyone who knew her a better person. I will remember her smile and the kind, gentle person she was. She is walking in the presence of the Lord now. There is no better place to be.

  8. To Tommy, Pam & Family, I am saddened to hear of Brandi’s passing. I will always remember her gentle but bubbly laughter and her beautiful smile. May she be at peace. The family is in my thoughts and my prayers. May God bless you. Love Lisa Arango
