Carmen Mae Davis

Carmen Mae McDonald Davis, 37, of Richmond, OH, passed away Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at the Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA. Born February 24, 1977 in Steubenville, OH, Carmen was a daughter of Linda D. McCartney of Weirton, WV and the late Gerald R. McDonald. In addition to her biological father, Carmen was also preceded in death by a step-father, Gary Semenick. Carmen was able to pursue her passion of helping others during her career in the health field for many years. She was Methodist by faith and enjoyed spending time with her family. In addition to her mother, Carmen is survived by her husband, Steven B. Davis of Richmond, OH; sister, Sheila McCartney of Steubenville, OH; nephews, Richard Lawrence, Marlon Lawrence, Jr., and Percy E. Freeman, Jr., all of Steubenville, OH; step-father, Bob G. McCartney of Weirton, WV; her best friend, Jessica Flanagan; and her two dogs, Jazmin Ruby and Daisy Mae. Carmen touched many lives and will always be remembered as a wonderful wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend to many. In accordance with Carmen's wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral. A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of her family.
