Carrol L. Pulse

Carrol L. Pulse, 77, of Weirton, passed away Monday, September 24, 2018 in the Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA. She was born April 5, 1941 in New Brighton, PA, a daughter of the late William T. and Ora Grace Sylvester Wittenbauch. She was also preceded in death by her husband Louis Martin Pulse whom she married January 18, 1966 and brother William Dewey Wittenbauch.
For 14 years, Carrol worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant and served as Assistant Activities Director at Wyngate Senior Living. She was a member of the Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church in Weirton and the Betta Sigma Phi Sorority. Carrol volunteered her time serving meals and enjoying the residents of Freedom Place II in Weirton. She loved playing cards with her friends and family and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
She is survived by her sons Louis (Arry) Pulse of Dallas. TX and William Pulse of Weirton; grandchildren Desiree and Chelsea Pulse and Matthew Freshwater; great granddaughter McKenzie Pulse and dear friend Michelle Campbell of Weirton
Friends will be received Monday 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, WV, where funeral services will be celebrated 11 AM Tuesday. The Pastor James H. Rhodes will officiate. Interment will follow in Highland Hills Memorial Gardens, Follansbee, WV.
