Catherine Manning

Catherine Manning, 87, of Weirton died Tuesday January 7, 2002 at the Heritage Place in Weirton. She was born on March 29, 1914 in Allison, PA, the daughter of the late Andrew and Ann Moses Skovran. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jack Manning on March 25, 1987,her son Gerald on June 16, 1980 and her son John, on September 26, 1985. Catherine was also preceded in death by her two brothers, Andrew and John Skovran. She was a homemaker and a member of Saint Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, Christian Mothers and the AARP. Surviving include her Son Ronald and his wife Linda Manning of Weirton; two brothers George Skovran of New Salem, PA and Mike Skovran of Cleveland, OH; two sisters, Irene Kowalski of Uniontown, PA and Helen Sikora of Weirton, WV; three grandchildren, Nanette Manning Connor, Cheryll Manning Zobenica and Jeff Manning; three great grandchildren, Josh Manning and Kaitlyn and Chloe Connor. Visitation will be 2-4 & 7-9 PM Wednesday at the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home 3219 Main Street Weirton, WV. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be 10 AM Thursday at the Saint Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Saint Paul Cemetery.
