charles boustead
Charles J. Boustead, 71, of Burgettstown, PA died Wednesday, December 8, 2010 , at the Trinity Medical Center West in Steubenville, OH. Charles was born on August 9, 1939, in Florence, PA, a son of the late John and Mary Scott Boustead. With 36 years of service, Charles retired from Weirton Steel where he was a machinist. He also worked for the P.F. Water Association. Charles served in the Army National Guard during the Viet Nam war. Charles was a member of the Richard Vaux Lodge 454 AF & AM and was a former member of Syria Shrine. He was once active with the Hanover Township Volunteer Fire Department. Charles lived for his grandchildren. When he was not working, Charlie enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping with his family. He is survived by his wife Martha Tingler Boustead, whom he married on May 23, 1964; his two sons, Kevin Scott Boustead and his wife Karen of Brownstown, PA, Jeffrey Paul Boustead of Colliers, WV; his daughter, Amy Diane Wagner, and her husband Shawn of Toronto, OH; his brother, John Boustead and his wife Nancy of Mattoon, IL; his two granddaughters, Jennifer Marie Boustead and Sarah Ann Wagner. Visitation will be Sunday 1-3 and 6-8 PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street Weirton, WV, where funeral services will be held 11 AM Monday. The Reverend Steve Johnson will preside. Masonic Services will be conducted at 7PM Sunday in the funeral home. Interment will be in Grandview Cemetery, Florence, PA.

  2. Marty and family: I was saddened to hear about Charle’s passing. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you. My mom was so fond of Charles who kept her company when he was a little boy and she was newly married living in Florence. I also recall Uncle Johnny, my dad and Charles becoming Masons and then Shriners (I think there is a pic from the newspaper somewhere). May you find peace in your memories.
