Charles James Scott, 62, of Weirton died Friday March 22, 2013, at the Lifeline Hospital in Wintersville, OH. Born on October 17, 1950, in Washington, PA, Charles was a son of the late James Scott and Grace Stevens Scott Baker. Charles worked as a strip steel foreman for Weirton Steel and also drove a truck for ABF Freight and Weir Cove Moving and Storage. He was a Teamster Representative. Charles enjoyed volunteering his time where he was involved in the Company One Volunteer Fire Department and the Volunteer Fire Department on Marland Heights. He was a member of Saint Paul Roman Catholic Church and the Richard Vaux Lodge 454 AF & AM. He is survived by his loving wife, Deborah Perloski Scott, whom he married on August 4, 1979; their children, Benjamin Scott and Brittany (Wesley) Holloway all of Weirton; a brother, Robert Scott of Florence, PA and two sisters, Alice Chappell of Florence, PA and Dorothy Moore of Batesville, AR.   1. I was sadden to have learned of Charlie’s passing. My heart felt condolence go out to his family & all who are grieving & missing him.

  2. To The Family of Charley, I am so sorry for your loss. Since I moved out of town I have lost contact with Scotty, but have thought of him often. We use to go to the shooting range and enjoy spending time at the fire station together. I will miss his friendship and long conversations.
