  4. To the Nagy family, December 1961 I played in the Jr. Rose Bowl football game. I heard someone shouting from the stand – I came over and talked to the guy. He said, “I’m Charles Nagy from Weirton do you now me”? I answered the guy from Weirton heights with the white dogs? He said yes! He went on to ask how was my Uncle (Jody) doing.

And asked me about Weirton. He ended by telling, “show those people how football is played in Weirton! We won the game! The last time I saw him I was in Weirton to attend the Hometown event at the museum. He said he heard I was in town and wanted to talk to me – we had a great conversation. He will be missed – condolences to the family! Bob Kelley
