Clifford L. Jones

Clifford L. Jones, 68, of Weirton, died Tuesday, August 10, 2004 at the Weirton Medical Center. Born September 11, 1935 in Colliers, WV, he was the son of the late Charles and Bertha (Jones) Jones. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers Charles E. and Paul H. Jones.
After 21 years of service, Clifford retired from the Weirton Steel Electric Shop where he worked as a fork lift operator. He attended the Weirton Heights Free Methodist and was a member of the Weirton Lodge #171 A.F. & A.M.
Clifford is survived by his wife Carol M. Phebus Jones; children Vickie Lemley and her husband Mark, Richard Jones and his wife Frances all of Weirton and Ronald Jones of Adena, OH; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton where funeral services will be held at 12:00PM on Friday.

Cliff and Jesus had many traits that were alike. Cliff was to many cheerful,friendly,helpfull and so understanding of other peoples needs and so loving to his Wife!
You have our deepest sympathy. My mother was Pearl Jones Gavazzi of Slovan, Pa. Her parents were James and Dora Jones of Colliers, WVA.
