Clifford Lee Stull

Clifford Lee Stull, 82, of Steubenville, Ohio, formerly of Weirton, passed away Friday, November 6, 2020, in the Valley Hospice Care Center North. He was born May 27, 1938, the son of the late Naomi Stull. He was also preceded in death by his wife Jo Ann Birkhimer Stull; daughter Eva Marie Stull, son Clifford Stull and stepfather Vernon Depoy.
He was a 1955 graduate of Steubenville High School and received his bachelor’s degree in theology from the Franciscan University of Steubenville. With 30 years of service, Clifford retired from Weirton Steel, where he worked as a welder. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, held season tickets for the Steubenville Big Red, and served as coach for the Greco-Hertnick baseball team. He loved working with the teenagers at The Weirton Heights Church of Christ. Clifford had a deep love for his country and proudly served in the United States Army.
He is survived by his daughters Terri (John) Arendt of Clemmons, NC, Sharon Israel of Weirton, and Kimberly (Robert) Hillis of Graniteville, SC, and grandchildren Katherine Arendt, Matthew and Tyler Israel and Chandler and Evan Hillis.
Friends will be received Monday from 11 am until the 1 pm funeral service at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, WV. Minister Steven P. Smithbauer will officiate. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Weirton.

Our sympathy to the family of Cliff and wishing all who love him comfort at his passing. Knowing The Stulls for decades, they have been a very important part of our church family. Cliff will be missed at his usual seat and continued prayers for the family.

Cliff was such a good man, and so good to our family. I will miss chatting with him on my visits to Steubenville, but am grateful to have known him. Aloha oe, Cliff.
