Collin Fife, 39, of Weirton, passed away Satu rday, May 10, 2008 at the Weirton Medical Center. Born September 14, 1968 in Weirton, he was the son of Frederick A. Fife of Weirton and the late Martha Hayes Fife. Collin was a past employee of the former Collier Industries in Colliers, WV. He was a graduate of Weir High School where he ran track. Collin enjoyed fishing with his many friends. In addition to his father, Collin is survived by his sister Dawn M. Nelson and her husband James of Follansbee, his girlfriend Paula Williamson, cousin Sheila Underwood, and nephews, Brennan Davies and Michael Nelson. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 21, 2008 at 11:00AM at the Church of Christ on Penna Ave, Weirton, WV. There will be no visitation.   4. Dawn, I am so sorry to hear about Collin. It was quite a shock. I remember as a teenager, all the kids in the neighborhood would play football against the boys from Kings Creek. I can still see Collin running around the left end to score a touchdown. If there is anything I can do, please ask.

  5. There are no words to equivalate the tragic loss of losing a young man in the prime of his life. May God spare your family further pain.

Collin was a great friend in our youth and I will always remember Collin as a great friend and someone with whom I shared a special time of my life with.   9. I was so sorry to hear about Colin’s passing. We were really close in high school, but failed to keep in touch over the years. I checked one of my year books which he signed “To a good friend. Remember the great times.” I hope his words may bring some comfort now and in the future.
