Danny Carson Tennant, 62, of Follansbee, WV, passed away Tuesday, September 19, 2017 in the Weirton Medical Center. He was born November 12, 1954 in Weirton, a son of the late Ralph and Gaynell Carson Tennant. He was also preceded in death by an infant son Bryan Christopher Tennant; brother Keith Tennant and dear friends Charles Traubert and Harry Black.
Danny retired from Weirton Steel. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and had a passion for Jeeps.
Danny is survived by his wife Gail Craig Tennant; daughter Abby Tennant; brother Bradley (Suzie) Tennant all of Follansbee and sister Connie (Alan) Bolen of Denver, CO. Also surviving are his very dear friends Linda and Bill Rapp, Kevin and Jackie Mays and Sandy and Fred Haspel and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Thursday 2-4 and from 6 until the 8 p.m. funeral service at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton. The Reverend Larry Barkley will officiate.
