David Allen Barney

David Allen Barney, 21, of Steubenville, OH, died Sunday, January 26, 2003 at the Trinity Medical Center West in Steubenville. He was born on January 11, 1982 in Columbus, OH, a son of Linda J. (Walker) Barney of Steubenville and Robert Barney of Maryland. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Robert Walker, and his aunt, Carolyn Moore.
David was a member of the Wintersville United Methodist Church. He worked as a clerk at Past Times Arcade in Steubenville.
In addition to his parents, David is survived by his best friend and father figure, Nick Lonetto; one brother, Adam Barney and his wife Marygrace, all of Steubenville; three sisters, Carrie Tilton and her husband Lance of Steubenville, Meredith Barney of Gordon, GA, and Sarah Barney of Steubenville; maternal grandmother, Patricia Walker of Steubenville; two aunts, Janet Adamczyk of Weirton and Nancy DiBiase and her husband Gary of Follansbee, WV; three nieces, one nephew, numerous cousins; and his girlfriend, Mary Stock.
Visitation will be from 2-4 and 7-9 PM Wednesday at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, WV where funeral services will be held 11 AM Thursday. Rev. Clinton Quillen will preside. Burial will be in Union Cemetery in Steubenville.

My deepest sympathy and condolences go to the family of David Barney, It would not seem right that death could actually take away someone we love and so young. and when it does the thought of not being able to be near them again it seem very difficult. And all the good things people say do not take that pain away. I know because when my mother died I experienced that but what helped to ease some of the pain was knowing the bibles promise at Revelation 21:3&4 about our loved ones.
