david decollo
David Anthony DeCollo, 52, of Weirton, died Monday, January 12, 2004, at the Weirton Medical Center. He was born August 6, 1951, in Steubenville, Ohio, a son of the late Flavian and Ann Vezmar DeCollo. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Lorraine (Lori) Kost, and infant brother Tobias DeCollo. After 30 years of service, David retired from Weirton Steel, where he worked as a process control clerk, in the Research & Development Department. He was a member of the WSX 25-Year Club, and was an avid Mario Lemieux fan. He is survived by his wife, Cathy Moore DeCollo of Weirton, whom he married September 9, 1976; daughters Kimberly (Watson) Mull, and her husband Jason of Huntersville, NC and Staci (Watson) Lorello, and her husband Brian of Little Rock, AK; brother Flavian DeCollo of Loveland, CO; and two grandchildren, Brody Mull and Joshua Lorello. Friends will be received Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM, at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton where funeral services will be held at 11:00AM Friday.
