David Emmett Wilson

David Emmett Wilson, 75, of Weirton, passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at his home. Born January 18, 1936 in Isabelle, PA, he was a son of the late Samuel Morgan and Ina Bell Balsley Wilson. He was also preceded in death by his wife Teresa Gubitti Wilson on October 3, 2006.
With over 30 years of service, David retired from Weirton Steel where he worked as a Millwright in the Tin Mill Department. He was a member of the WSX 25-Year Club, Weirton Moose Lodge 688 and served in the United States Army.
Mr. Wilson is survived by his sisters Doris P. Moses and Juanita L. Marshall both of Michigan; sister and brother in laws Roy and Florence Scarfo, Santo and Mary Gubitti, John and Michelle Gubitti, Frances McAndrews, Joe and Linda Gubitti, Christina and Tom Novak and Andrew and Jeanette Gubitti and many nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received Friday from 2-4 and 6-8pm at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton where funeral services will be celebrated 11am Saturday. Interment will be in St. Paul Cemetery, Weirton.

Uncle Dave, I love you and you will be missed more than you’ll ever know. Who am I going to call a “Hillbilly” too anymore now that you are gone. I know you are in a better place up with Aunt Teresa, just make sure you take care of her up there and I’ll be seeing you all one day.
