David Michael Babinchak, 49, of Weirton, passed away Saturday, February 16, 2008, in the Valley Hospice Palliative Care Center, Steubenville, OH. He was born on June 10, 1958 in Weirton, WV, the son of Mary (Hricik) Babinchak of Weirton and the late John J. Babinchak. David graduated in 1977 from Weir High School. He worked in the Blooming Mill of Weirton Steel and did landscaping and car detailing. He was a caregiver to his parents. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and being a member of the Paris Sportsman Club. He loved to watch sports, especially his beloved Dallas Cowboys. David was a member of Saint Paul Roman Catholic Church. Surviving in addition to his mother, is his brother, John P. and Kathleen Babinchak of Weirton; his sister Darlene and Michael Doerfler of Pittsburgh, PA; his nieces and nephews Edward and Joann Doerfler and Danielle and Tim Rowlands all of Pittsburgh, PA, Monica and Carl Chiarenza of Herriman, UT and Blaise and Jessica Babinchak of Weirton, WV; several grand nieces and nephew and his faithful friend, a Jack Russell Terrier, FUZZY. Visitation will be 2-4 & 7-9 PM Tuesday, at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, WV. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated 10 AM Wednesday at the Saint Paul Roman Catholic Church, Weirton, WV. Entombment will follow in Saint Paul Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorial contributions may be made to the Saint Paul Roman Catholic Church, 140 Walnut Street, Weirton, WV 26062.
