Della Showalter Kirkpatrick

Della Showalter Kirkpatrick, 82, of New Cumberland died Wednesday, November 29, 2000 at the Weirton Geriatric Center. She was born on October 9, 1918 in Littleton, WV, the daughter of the late Richard and Carrie Blake Howe. She was also preceded in death by her her first husband, John Jackson Showalter in 1965 and her second husband Harry W. Kirkpatrick in 1996; a son, Frankie Showalter; two brothers, Robert and Harold Howe; three sisters, Auline Kirkpatrick, Minnie Wade and Geneive Anderson. She is survived by her three sons, John Showalter and his wife Wanda of New Manchester, WV, Tommy Showalter and his wife Polly of New Cumberland, WV and Harry Showalter and his wife Diane of Weirton, WV; four daughters, Mrs. Charles (Delores) Horner of Cameron, WV, Mrs. Paul (Sophie) Kuhns, Mrs. Jack (Ruby) Rice and Mrs. Gary (Linda) Hostuttler all of Weirton, WV; three step daughters, Mrs. Lee (Edna) Hutchinson, Betty White and Mrs. John (Patricia) Pavel all of Weirton; one brother, Lloyd Howe and one sister Louise Barnes both of Sebring,OH; 20 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren and several step grandchhildren. Visitation will be 7-9 PM Thursday and 2-4 & 7-9 PM Friday at the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home 3219 Main Street Weirton, where services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, with the Rev. Jim Larrabee, officiating.
