Delores T. Angelo, 83, of Weirton died Thursday, August 25, 2011, at the Lifeline Hospital, in Wintersville, OH. Born August 9, 1928, in Steubenville, OH Delores was a daughter of the late Fred and Adeline DeSaro Gaylord. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Gloria Palma. Delores was a nurse's aide at the former Weirton General Hospital and later at the Weirton Medical Center. She was a member of Saint Paul Roman Catholic Church, Weirton. She loved to read. She is survived by her son, Fred (Vicki) Angelo of Weirton, WV; her daughter, Sharon (Jerry) Zemanek of Imperial, PA; her sister, Eleanor Westlake of Weirton, WV; grandchildren Adrienne (Frank) Caracciolo, Zachary and Nick Zemanek; step-grandchildren Brittany and Tyler Conrad; great-grandchildren Owen and Nathan Caracciolo. Visitation will be Monday from 1 until the 4 pm funeral services at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton. Reverend Peter Leonovich will officiate. Private interment will be held at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Steubenville, OH. Memorial contributions may be made to the Weirton Alliance Church, 119 North 13th Street, Weirton, WV 26062.
