Dennis Nagy, 72, of Weirton died Saturday February 2, 2019, at his home. A son of the late Rudolph and Freda Martin Nagy, Dennis was born on November 28, 1946 in Steubenville, OH. In addition to his parents, Dennis was preceded in death by his sister, Sherry Keller. Dennis served his country in Vietnam with the United States Army. After returning to Weirton he was employed at Weirton Steel where he worked as a boiler repairman prior to his retirement. He volunteered his time with area youth coaching baseball and softball. He was a member of Saint Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, VFW 2716, and the K of C 3734. He will be remembered with love by his wife, Paulette Haberman Nagy; his son, Eric and Courtney Nagy of Chester, NJ; his daughter, Jessica and Erik Welker of Woodstock, GA; his brothers, Rudy and Cathy Nagy and Alec and Kathy Nagy all of Weirton, WV; his sisters, Deb and Charlie Wright of Weirton, WV and Patty and Jim Hall of Pekin, Ill; and his grandchildren, Breanna and Riley Welker, Harper, Asher and Maxwell Nagy. Visitation will be 5 to 7 pm Wednesday at the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home 3219 Main Street Weirton, WV. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 AM Thursday at Saint Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, Weirton Interment will follow in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies Share tributes and memories at www.grecohertnick.com 304 748 3219
