diane waskevich
Diane Marie Waskevich, 48, of Weirton, passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2007 at the Weirton Medical Center. Born October 18, 1958 in Weirton, she was the daughter of John Waskevich and Mary Blanar Waskevich of Weirton. Diane was a former employee of the Hancock County Sheltered Workshop and a member of St. Nicholas Orthodox Church. In addition to her parents, Diane is survived by her brothers William John Waskevich and his wife Joyce, and Paul Andrew Waskevich and his friend Kathy Henry all of Weirton; nieces and nephews Mandy Waskevich and Charles and their son Max, Jessica, Tabitha, Melissa, Matthew Waskevich and Adam Waskevich and his children. The family will receive friends Thursday 4-8:30PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton where a Parastas service will be held at 8:30PM. Additional visitation will be held Friday from 10 until the 11AM funeral service at St. Nicholas Orthodox Church with The Very Reverend Father Theodore Shomsky officiating. Interment will be in St. Nicholas Cemetery, Weirton. Memorial contributions will be accepted on behalf of the family.
