Donald Warren Wagner

Donald Warren Wagner, 55, of Weirton, WV, devoted husband, father, brother and loving grandpa died January 8, 2018.
Born on December 15, 1962, in Weirton, WV, Donald was a son of the late Charles and Patricia Joan Monroe Wagner.
He was formerly employed as a millwright and machinist at Weirton Steel and most recently was employed as an operation’s technician at Williams Corporation.
In his free time, Donald enjoyed time spent with his family. He especially liked anything associated with the outdoors. Quite often he could be found riding his Harley or out in the woods hunting.
He is survived by his loving family; his wife of 37 years, Pamela Marie Stoker Wagner; his two sons, Bradley (Andrea) Wagner of Rockhill, SC, and Bryan (Amber) Wagner of Weirton, WV; his brothers, Mark (Patty) Wagner of Follansbee, WV and Kevin (Stacy) Wagner of Weirton, WV; a sister, Terri (Brett) Tobias of Middleberry, IN; his grandchildren, Naudia, Charles, Landon, Kage, Lilah, and Adalynn Wagner.
Visitation will be 3 – 7 PM Saturday at the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home 3219 Main Street Weirton, WV, where funeral services will be conducted at 7 PM.
Pastor Brian Richardson and Reverend Larry Barkley will preside.

I have known Don for a majority of my life! He was a man with a big heart and would go out of his way for anyone! Can’t say enough about his character, still at a loss for words.
His family is in our prayers!!!

Awesome man to have known. Not only as a friend but family. Keeping up with all the great years of deer hunting on the Ferrell farm in downtown Bearsville, Wv. Chuck, Kevin, and Donald was always a ball of laughs when coming in from hunting. Thanksgiving week spent hearing stories and catching up on what was happening in the lives of the Wagner family. Honored to have know him and called him family and friend. With our most sincere sorrow we pray for the family he left behind all to soon in life. May the Lord help you thru this difficult time. I met Donny in High School Welding class and our friendship grew from there. He was an awesome guy to be around, always joking and positive. I had a lot of fun times with Donny and his family, . I remember visiting him at Al Shaws Jewelers downtown Weirton, probably his first job. I even hung out a time or two with him and Pam when they were dating. I’m so sad and my heart is breaking for Pam and his family. I pray that God will grant you some comfort during this difficult time. I have not seen Donny in many years but I will still miss him dearly, he is and will always be my friend. Terrence Shultz
