Donald Dean Forester, Sr.
November 23, 1934 ~ March 11, 2012
Donald Dean Forester, Sr., 77, of Colliers, WV, passed away Sunday, March 11, 2012 in Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville, OH with his family by his side. He went to join his loving wife of 48 years, Nancy Swan Forester, who preceded him in death on April 26, 2011. He was born on November 23, 1934 in Tyler County, WV. He was the son of the late Clyde and Verga Jones Forester. He is also preceded in death by a great-granddaughter Elizabeth, brother Kenneth Forrester, sister Betty Mayhew and an infant brother.
Donald retired from Eagle Manufacturing in Wellsburg, WV. He was a member of the Brooke County Senior Center. He and Nancy enjoyed playing bingo 2-3 times a week. He was also an avid Steelers and Pirates fan.
Donald is survived by his sons Donald D. Forester, II of Colliers, Timothy D. Forester of Friendly, WV, Rickey A. Forester and his wife Gwen of Colliers, Lonnie M. Forester and his wife Bridgette of Mingo Junction, OH and Michael L. Forester and his wife Christy of Lordstown, OH; brothers Robert Forester and his wife Loretta of Colliers and Charles Forester and his wife Zora of New Manchester, WV; sisters Virginia Larkey and Ruby Duvall and her husband Jim all of Weirton, and a daughter-in-law Pauline Forrester of St. Marys, WV; 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, WV, where funeral services will be celebrated 11AM Thursday. Pastor James E. Rhodes will officiate. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery, Colliers.

When Uncle Donald first found out my nickname is Bula, he just chuckled and winked at me…he then called me Bula in front of Aunt Nancy and boy did it ever make her mad!!! Here to find out, Bula was his ex girlfriend from years ago and Aunt Nancy hated the name!!!! You will be missed!!!
