Donna Fornari McConnell

Donna Fornari McConnell, passed away at the age of 75 on December 20, 2015 at Life Care in Cleveland, Tennessee. Donna was born in Steubenville, Ohio on December 1, 1940. She was the daughter of Charles C. and Mary Gryskevich Fornari of Weirton, West Virginia. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Clyde McConnell and son Eric McConnell. After graduating from Weir High School in 1958, Donna worked at the Weirton Steel Company General Office. She lived in Deltona, Florida for more than forty years. There, she first worked at General Electric and then, for several years, at the Seminole County Building Department in Sanford, Florida. In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting, making crafts, cooking, and especially baking. With her good memory, she was valued as the family historian. Donna was always available to help those in need and will be missed by many. She is survived by her son Matthew and wife Trisha McConnell and their sons Matthew and Jacob, of Cleveland, TN; grandson Charlie McConnell of Deltona, Florida; sister Marcia and husband Jim Runkel of Martins Ferry, OH; sister JoEllen and husband Walter Rappold of Raleigh, NC; brother Gabriel and wife Diane Fornari of Hilton Head Island, SC; one great granddaughter; and several cousins, nieces and nephews. A private Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Donations in her memory may be made to the charity of one's choice.
