Dorothy Lucille Miller

Dorothy Lucille Miller, 82, of Weirton went to be with the Lord on February 1, 2006 at the Weirton Medical Center. She was born January 7, 1924 in Beech Bottom, WV, the daughter of the late Joseph and Hazel Ludwig Peterson. Her husband James Alvin Miller, brother Archie Peterson and sister Betty Gilbert also preceded her. Dorothy was a homemaker and a charter member of the Weirton Christian and Missionary Alliance Church where she served as pianist, Sunday School teacher and Deaconess. She is survived by her brother John Peterson and his wife Eleanor of Weirton and sister Agnes Cross of Weirton and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Friday from 2-4 and 6-8PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main St, Weirton, WV. She will lie in state Saturday from 10:00 until the 11:00AM funeral service at the Weirton Christian and Missionary Alliance Church. Reverend Raymond Draa will officiate. Interment will be at New Cumberland Cemetery, New Cumberland, WV. Memorial contributions can be made to the Weirton Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, 119 North 13th Street, Weirton, WV 26062.
