Dorothy Mildred Connell Martin from Weirton passed away Thursday, February 11, 2021, as a resident at The Laurels in Steubenville; she was 92 years old.
She was born June 17, 1928, in Weirton; Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents James and Edith Bright Connell, brothers James, Jack, Thomas, and Jerome Connell.
Dorothy was a graduate of Weir High School and a Veteran of the United States Navy. She attended and graduated from the Ohio Valley School of Nursing, obtaining her registered nursing degree, working within the Ohio Valley for over thirty years.
Left to cherish her memory is her brothers, Robert (Ruth) Connell and Tim (Christine) Connell, sisters Carol (Sal) Trujellio and Patricia Brock, all of Weirton.
A private burial will take place at the convenience of her family.
