Duke Frederic Wildey, 79, of Weirton, formerly of Carpentersville, IL, passed away Monday, July 29, 2019 in the Trinity Medical Center, Steubenville, OH. He was born November 29, 1939 in Binghamton, NY, the son of the late Gerald and Irma Wirth Wildey. He was also preceded in death by his brother Curt Theodore Lohrey. Duke has worked in several states throughout the US and Canada, working as plant manager in various manufacturing industries. He was well-known for his wild bird products that he manufactured and sold. He started a manufacturer’s rep company that represented many established wildlife product manufacturers. He was an avid bridge player and golfer and loved sitting on the deck and watching all of the wildlife. He is survived by his wife Christelle Klym Wildey whom he married in 1977; daughters Sonya Jensen and Allison Faulkner; grandchildren Myranda Jensen, Tyler Jensen and Dylan Carpenter and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends will be received Friday from 10 until the 11am funeral services at Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, WV. The Reverend Father Andrew Nelko will officiate.
