E. Lee James

E. Lee James, 80, of Weirton, WV passed away June 17, 2007 at the D & D Health Care. He was born July 9, 1926 in Big Isaac, WV, the son of the late Ralph and Audra McClain James. His wife, Margaret Nagy James, whom he married April 7, 1947 and his brother William James also preceded him in death. Lee retired from the Weirton Steel Company where he worked in the Strip Steel Department as a roller on the #9 Tandem Mill, with 34 years of service. He was a member of the 25 year club of Weirton Steel. He served his country during WWII in the US Army. He is survived by two sons, Gerald Allen James and his wife Nancy, and Kenneth James and his wife Mary Lou all of Weirton, WV. He has one grandson Dr. Ken James. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main St, Weirton, WV where services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 AM.
