Edna Marie Orth
July 24, 1918 ~ November 15, 2006
Edna Marie Orth, 88, of Weirton, passed away Wednesday, November 15, 2006 at the Weirton Medical Center. Born July 24, 1918 in Weirton, she was the daughter of the late Oda and Mable Wolfe Fetty. Edna was also preceded in death by her husband William D. Orth, Sr., brothers Eugene and Edwin Fetty, granddaughter Karen Skidmore and grandson Billy Orth.
Edna was a homemaker and a member of Cove Presbyterian Church.
Edna’s survivors include her son William D. Orth and his wife Christine of Marietta, GA; daughter Karol L. Skidmore and her husband Carl of Weirton; sisters Edith Crouch of Texas and Eileen Aubrey of Bridgeport, OH; grandchildren Holly Orth Walden, Molly Orth Huss, Carla Skidmore; great grandson Alex Skidmore and great granddaughter Avery Jane Walden.
Friends will be received Friday 6-8PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton where funeral services will be held 10AM Saturday. Entombment will be in Highland Hills Memorial Gardens, Follansbee.

I’m not sure if this is the same Orth or not, but I remember a Bill Orth as my brothers’ baseball coach. He was a wonderful man just as I’m sure his wife was. Our deepest sympathy.
