Edward Thomas Tennant, 56, of Weirton, WV, died Saturday January 21, 2012, in the Weirton Medical Center.
Born on May 19, 1955, in Weirton, Edward was a son of the late John Edward and Rosemary Loy Tennant.
Edward was employed by the city of Follansbee as a laborer for over twenty years. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his loving wife, Brenda Reed Tennant, a son, William Jack Tennant (April) of Colliers, WV; a daughter, Lucinda Steenburgh (Cue) of Weirton, WV; Brothers Michael E. Tennant (Judy) of Steubenville, OH; and John R. Tennant (Nina) of Colliers, WV; a sister, Christy Kay Lucas (John) of Weirton, WV; also surviving are six grandchildren
Private services and interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are by the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home Weirton.

Brother, I am going to miss you sooo much. I can’t believe I won’t have you to talk to anymore. We talked every day on the phone. Nina use to say we were worse than two women gossiping over the latest news. I’m going to miss that. You have always been my rock, my big brother, the person I go to when I had a problem. I am saddened that I lost my friend. I will miss you very much my friend but I know that God will welcome you into his arms so until we meet again I will extend my hand to you one last time. i met brendas husband when i worked at the holiday inn both nice people. im sorry for your loss.if you need any thing or need to talk im there. i know how it feels i lost my husband 5 years ago. denise cook
