Elfriede Johnson

Elfriede Johnson, 88, of New Hampshire, formerly of Weirton, passed away Friday, June 01, 2007 at the Harborside Healthcare. She was born in Kassel, Germany on August 31, 1918. Elfriede was also preceded in death by her parents, her husband Harold and two sisters. Elfriede was a homemaker, a member of the Weirton Heights Memorial Baptist Church, American Legion Auxiliary and the Weirton Chapter 147 Order of the Eastern Star. She is survived by her sons Walter Johnson and his wife Crystal of Hooksett, NH and Dieter Johnson and his wife Judy of Hanoverton, OH; one granddaughter Sundy Noonan of Needham, MA; great granddaughter Isabella Noonan and brother Walter Schellhasse of Kassell, Germany. The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 5, 2007 from 10 until the 11am funeral services at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton. Reverend William Stout will officiate.
