Ellen V. Zatta

Ellen V. Zatta, 83, of Weirton, died Friday, July 23, 2004 at the Palliative Care Unit of Valley Hospice in Steubenville, OH. Born August 9, 1920 in Penowa, PA, she was the daughter of the late Giaccomo and Virginia DeFelice. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Tony J. Zatta on October 2, 1993. After 30 years of service, Ellen retired from the Hancock County Schools where she taught at Weirton Heights Elementary School. She was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church in Weirton. Ellen’s survivors include her daughter Kathleen V. DeFelice and her husband David; brothers John DeFelice and Robert DeFelice all of Weirton and 3 grandchildren. Friends will be received Sunday 1-3 and 7-9PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton where funeral services will be held at 11:00AM Monday with Reverend Father Stephen Dube presiding.
