Emelio Joseph Conchel

Emelio J. (Mel) Conchel, 82, of Weirton died suddenly on Friday July 25, 2014.
Born on February 16, 1932, in Weirton, WV, Emelio was the son of the late Joseph and Christine Lougi Conchel.
After graduating from High School Mel enlisted in the United States Air Force, and served four years of active duty. After returning to Weirton, Mel was employed at Weirton Steel, as a mechanic, where he eventually retired after 37 years of service.
A very intelligent man, Mel enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles, and watching Jeopardy.
He will be missed by his wife, Deanna Musa Conchel; his sons, Joseph M. Conchel and David C. Conchel; his daughter, Jennifer L. Conchel all of Weirton, WV; his two grandchildren, Aaron Shane Aten and George Richard Loosemoore.
Mel's body will be cremated by the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home 3219 Main Street Weirton, WV.
Services will be held at the convenience of his family.
Mel will be missed by family and friends.

Mel was a wonderful patient to take care of in the hospital, and a very decent person. I offer my deepest condolences to friends and family.
