  8. This is being written by Margaret Panico-Harn for my dad, Tony Panico. Tony was extremely saddened to hear the news of Emil’s passing. Emil has been on his mind frequently for the last few years and has wanted to go visit. Unforunately, due to various circumstances, including the death of my mom (Tony’s wife) Carolyn, I was never able to drive him there! My dad and Emil certainly had a lifelong friendship! After I told dad the news, he sat and reminisced and told me their lifelong friendship history last night! How beautiful and what a gift to have such friend! Dad too is currently in a nursing home but hopefully for some rehab from a stay in the hospital with congestive heart failure. May God bless Emil, his wife and family! You are all in our prayers during this difficult time, but know he is in a much happier place now! Love to all – Tony Panico (Margaret Panico-Harn)
