Erna Frieda Jahn Selenica, 85, of Colliers, WV died Saturday April 2, 2005 at the Valley Hospice Palliative Care in Steubenville, OH. Erna was born to the late Ernst P. and Ernestine Stephan Jahn on January 25, 1920 in Breslau, Germany. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Samil Dalip Selenica on May 23, 1998; a grandson, Gaetano Casinelli, and two brothers, Heinz and Gerhardt Jahn. Erna was a homemaker, a loving mother and beloved Oma (Grandmother). She is survived by her son, Dieter H. (Tony) Jahn of Colliers, WV; her three daughters, Mrs. David (Fatima R.) Smuck of Follansbee, WV, Mrs. Majid (Shprese) Kamalabad of Zionsville, IN Mrs. Larry (Lori) Casinelli of Follansbee, WV; a step son Tomor Linitopi of Detroit, MI. She was also Oma (Grandmother) to her grandchildren, Erika, David, Mohammad, Gabriella, Perry, and Juliet. Visitation will be Monday 6-9 PM at the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home 3219 Main Street Weirton, WV, where funeral services will be held 11 AM Tuesday. Rev. Bethel Bateson will preside.   4. I have many fond memories of both your parents coming to Elby’s to pick one of you girls up after work. I remember how your Mom would giggle when your brother would come with her to do the pick up and we would tell her, “don’t tell Dad!” It wasn’t me he needed to worry about it was “that manager!” My deepest sympathy to you all.
