Esther L. McConnell

Esther L. McConnell, 87, of Weirton, passed away Tuesday, February 08, 2005 at the Inn at Wyngate in Weirton. Born February 4, 1918 in Colliers, WV, she was the daughter of the late Jake and Lucia (D’Intino) DiLorenzo. Esther was also preceded in death by her husband James J. McConnell in 1984; brother Paul DiLorenzo and sisters Mary Barrett, Grace Gaylord and Elizabeth Tarantine. Esther was a homemaker, a member of St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, the Catholic Daughters of America, St. Joseph Christian Mothers and was a lifetime member of the Millsop Community Center. Esther’s survivors include her sister-in-law Armeda DiLorenzo and several nieces and nephews. Esther requested that there will be no visitation. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated 10AM Friday at St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church. Interment will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Steubenville, Ohio.
