Esther Solomon, 73, of Weirton, passed away Thursday, January 22, 2009 in the Weirton Medical Center. Born December 11, 1935 in Weirton, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Margaret Billcheck Jellots. She was also preceded in death by her husband John Peter Solomon on December 19, 1995 and brother Donald Jellots. Mrs. Solomon was a homemaker, a member of St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church, Three Score Seniors, Four Seasons and AARP. Esther is survived by her son John Solomon and his wife Kimberly of Bloomington, IN; daughters Cynthia Brown and her husband Ron and Sharon Bright and her husband John all of Weirton; grandchildren Victoria Solomon, Tiffany Bright, Christina Golden, Mandy Bright and James Golden and his wife Melody and great grandsons Jonathan and Naythan Golden. Friends will be received Sunday from 1-4PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton where Parastas services will be conducted at 3:30PM. Final blessing will be held 8:30AM Monday in the funeral home followed by the 9AM Funeral Liturgy at St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church. The Reverend Father Ed Lucas will officiate.
