Eugene Ramer

Eugene R. Ramer 85, of Aliso Viejo, California, died January 5, 2002, at Aliso Laguna Village, in Aliso Viejo. He was born August 27, 1916 in Weirton, WV, the son of the late Lee and Marie Cunningham Ramer. A daughter Jeannie Ramer also preceded him. Eugene retired from the Weirton Steel Company where he worked as a turn foreman in the 54” Hot Mill. He was a member of the Weirton Heights Memorial Baptist Church, and the 25 year club of Weirton Steel. He was a member of the Weirton Lodge #171 AF&AM and also a noble in Mystic Shrine of the Osiris Temple of Wheeling, WV. He is survived by his wife June Ramer of Aliso Viejo, Ca, a daughter Judith Joyce and her husband Michael of Dana Point, Ca, and two grandchildren, Amy Joyce of Laguna Niguel, Ca, and Gregory Joyce of San Diego, Ca. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 9, 2002, from 2-4 and 7-9 at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main St., Weirton, WV. Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 10, 2002 at 12:00 noon in the funeral home. Internment will be in Chapel Hills Memorial Gardens, Weirton.
