Eva (Chambers) Lyons

Surrounded by family, Eva (Chambers) Lyons of Weirton, WV formerly of Paris, PA passed away on Saturday March 12, 2011, at the Trinity Medical Center, in Steubenville, OH.
She was the wife of the late Clyde L. Chambers, and Oscar (Dale) Lyons.
Born in Weirton, WV, Eva was a daughter of the late John and Eva Truch Pronchik.She was also preceded in death by a brother, John Pronchik
She was a member of Paris Presbyterian Church, the Senior Citizens of Burgettstown, and the American Legion Auxilliary in Weirton, WV.
Surviving include a daughter, Mary Johnson and her husband, Dave; a son, Clyde "Butch" Chambers, and his wife Sandy, and a sister, Susan Illig; four grandchildren, and several great grandchildren.
Visitation will be 3-8 PM Tuesday at the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home 3219 Main Street Weirton, WV, where funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11 AM
Rev. Christina Hosler will preside.
Interment will follow at the Chestnut Ridge Cemetery

Grandma Eva, You will be deeply missed by all.. I love you
Eva was a wonderful lady! I enjoyed many chats with her at Freedom Place. She always had that twinkle in her eyes and smile on her face—even when she wasn’t feeling her best. She and Helen were so ornery sometimes. I will be one of the many residents who will miss her. Know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. God called a beautiful angel home.
eva was a very nice lady i knew her from freedom place where i lived for 10yrs she always had a smile on her face n was always so giving to her sister sue

Thank you for all the kind words of my mother-in-law . I loved her as a Mother. It was a sad day but she is at peace but will forever be in my heart with so many memories we shared together !! Thanks again ! Eva’s Family
