Fannie P. Cladias, 88, of Weirton died Saturday November 20, 2010, at the Weirton Geriatric Center. She was born on July 9, 1922, in Yorkville, OH, the daughter of the late James and Mary Zervoudis Palavis. She was also preceded in death by her husband Steve L. Cladias on July 8, 1998. Fannie retired from Weirton Wholesale Distributing Company, a company that her family owned and operated since 1961. Fannie was a member of All Saints Greek Orthodox Church, Weirton, WV She is survived by her two sons, James S. and Linda Cladias of Weirton, WV, and Leonard J. and Nora Cladias of Annapolis, MD; her three grandchildren, Stephanie (Michael) DeChant of Brighton, CO, John Cladias of Baltimore, MD, Jamie (Logan) Cyrus of Charlotte, NC; a step granddaughter, Sabrina (Jim) Benko of Maryland; a great granddaughter, Grace DeChant; two step great grandchildren, Nadia and Aida Benko. Visitation will be 2-6 PM Monday at the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street Weirton, WV. Trisagion Service will be held Monday in the funeral home. Additional visitation will be 9:30 AM until time of funeral service at 10AM Tuesday, at All Saints Greek Orthodox Church, 3528 West Street, Weirton, WV Reverend Father Frank A. Milanese will preside.
