Florence Orlando, 90, of Weirton passed away Sunday October 24, 2010, at her home. She was born on January 10, 1920 in Duquesne Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late Anthony and Waleria Novagarski Malukiewicz. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Tony Orlando; two brothers and a sister. Florence was a beloved mother and grandmother. She was a member of Saint Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, the Christian’s Mothers, and the AARP. She is survived by her son; J.A. Orlando and his wife Mary Jo of Saint Louis, MO; her two daughters, Carol Irvine and Toni Marie Gurskey and her husband Michael all of Weirton, WV; five grandchildren, Mike Orlando, Amy Lynn Corbett, Steven Orlando, Sara Gurskey Dacosta, and Aaron Gurskey; five great grandchildren. Visitation will be 2-4 & 6-8 PM Tuesday at the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home 3219 Main Street Weirton, where funeral services will be conducted 11 AM Wednesday. Rev. Fr. Dean Borgmeyer will preside.
