Floyd J. Glasure, Jr. 58, of Weirton died February 9, 2001 at St. Francis Medical Center.
Floyd was born on October 18, 1942, in Steubenville, OH a son of the late Floyd J. Glasure Sr. and Vivian Clear Glasure. He was proceeded in death by 2 sisters: Linnie Mae Biondillo and Donna Lowther.
Floyd is retired from Weirton Steel Corporation with 30 years of service as a rigger. He was methodist by faith, and a member of the WSX 25 year club.
Floyd is survived his wife: Donna Fletcher Glasure, of Weirton, 3 sons: Harold Jay, Mark and Donald Glasure all of Weirton, 3 daughters: Michele Smith of Steubenville, Corrina Davidson and Diane Smith both of Weirton, 1 brother: Donald Glasure, of Weirton, 4 sisters: Josephine Richards of Colliers, Geraldine DiCiccio of Follansbee, Barbara Ballato, and Myrtle Szuch both of Weirton, and 14 grandchildren.
Visitations will be held 7-9 PM Saturday and 1-3 and 7-9 PM Sunday at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home 3219 Main Street Weirton. Services 11:00 AM Monday at the funeral home with Pastor Don Lytle officiating.
Interment will be in Chestnut Ridge Cemetery, Florence, PA.
