Garnet M. Bailey

Garnet M. Bailey, 78, of Weirton, WV, passed away Saturday, March 3, 2018, at Valley Hospice Care Center North in Steubenville, OH.
Born April 21, 1939, in East Liverpool, OH, she was a daughter of the late Roy and Helen Whitetcotton Smith. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Bailey, a sister and several brothers.
Garnet’s entire life was devoted to her husband, children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her sons Kenneth Bailey of Steubenville and David and Joseph Bailey (Tammy), both of Weirton; daughters Leticia Swiger, Trina Masters and Judy Bailey, all of Weirton; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and a great great grandchild.
Visitation will be Monday 11 am until the 12:00 pm service at Greco Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, WV.
Reverend Dr. Ed. Rudiger will officiate.
Private burial will be held at the convenience of the family.

Today is a sad day for me, and my family as they lay to rest my grandmother, Garnet M. Bailey, She was so loved by all her 6 children and 13 teen grandchildren, I will always remember her by being so loving and caring and open to her home at any given time. I spent a lot of time there as a little girl growing up at my grandmother’s house, She was always there for us kid’s no matter what! I loved spending holidays there. Some of my best memories was being at my grandmother’s house. She will and forever be in my heart, I hope she is at peace now and no more pain. I love you Grandma I hope you are with grandfather now. Love always and forever laraine
