Gary Gene “Skeets” Semenick, 62, of Weirton, died Friday, November 5, 2004 at his home. Born March 14, 1942 in Steubenville, OH, he is the son of Mary Canei Semenick of Follansbee and the late Paul Semenick. He is also preceded in death by a son Gary Angelo. Skeets retired from Western Gear in California where he worked as a machinist. In addition to his mother, his survivors include his wife Linda McCartney Semenick of Weirton; son Sal Michael Semenick of Los Angeles, CA; step-daughters Sheila McCartney of Cadiz, OH and Carmen McDonald of Weirton; brothers Paul Michael Semenick of Weirton and Angelo Bruno Semenick of Elkins, WV and 2 grandsons, Richard and Marlon Lawrence. Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton.
