Virginia E. " Ginger" Andrews, 72, of Weirton died suddenly on Friday October 2, 2015, at her home. Born on January 7, 1943, in Hickory, PA, Ginger was a daughter of the late Francis Leroy and Gladys Irene Shaffer Liggitt. Ginger was a homemaker, and a good one at that! She enjoyed baking, crocheting and making crafts, and was known to collect Avon Bottles. Morning noon and night she could be found solving puzzle books. But most of all she will be remembered for her love of her family especially the love she had for her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was an active member of the Weirton First Church of the Nazarene, where she volunteered her time in the Church Nursery for over 30 years. Ginger is survived by her loving husband of over 54 years, Charles R. "Chuck" Andrews, Sr.; her son, Charles R. Andrews, Jr. (Kim) of Wellsburg, WV; her daughters, Denise Silvers (Bud) of Wellsburg, WV and Crystal Andrews (J.R. Fuller) of Weirton, WV ; her sisters, Eileen Hinkel (Lyle) of Pine Island, MN, and Shirley Stocker (Gordon) of North Ridgeway, OH; four grandchildren, Tisha Silvers, Monique, and Cameron Andrews, and Kinsey Fuller; great grandchildren, Haley Silvers, Brayden Wilson, Tyson Britton, and Kaidyn Andrews. Visitation will be 2-4 & 6-8 Tuesday at the First Church of the Nazarene 475 Colliers Way Weirton, where additional visitation will be held Wednesday 10 AM until time of funeral services at 11 AM. Reverends Brian Richardson and Larry Barkley will preside. Interment will follow at Highland Hill Memorial Gardens, Follansbee, WV.
