Giovanna Sellitti

Giovanna Sellitti, 95, of Weirton, passed away Monday, January 12, 2009 at the D & D Quality Care. Born September 3, 1913 in Pietracamela, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Maria Domenica Trinetti Sivitilli. Mrs. Sellitti was also preceded in death by her husband John on August 5, 1974, step-sons John and Tony Sellitti, sister Silva Perfetti, brother Alfred Sivitilli and step granddaughter Donna Sellitti. Mrs. Sellitti was a homemaker and a member of St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church. She is survived by her step-son Patsy Sellitti of Weirton; step-daughters Ann and Pauline Sellitti both of New York; nieces Mary Patriarca of Weirton and Biancamaria Della Penna of Canada; nephews Enzo Sivitilli of Canada and Joseph Perfetti of Morgantown, WV and their children; 10 step-grandchildren and several step-great grandchildren. Friends will be received Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton. Funeral services will be celebrated 9:30AM Thursday at St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church. Reverend Father Dean Borgmeyer will officiate. Interment will be in St. Paul Cemetery, Weirton.
