glenn pease
Glenn Walker Pease, 90, of East Liverpool, passed away Sunday, July 5, 2020, at his residence. Born in East Liverpool, October 18, 1929, Glenn was a son of the late Harry and Margaret (Beiling) Pease. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rena (Wolfe) Pease, on December 10, 2018, and brothers William and Harry Pease. Glenn was a foreman in the Cold Strip Department at the former Crucible and Allegheny Ludlum Steel Corporations. A faithful member of the First Free Methodist Church, he excelled at keeping his pastor guessing with his quick sense of humor. He enjoyed bass fishing and spent many hours on the river. He especially enjoyed his yearly fishing trip to Lake Erie with family and friends. Known as a man with tremendous wit, he was a storyteller and loved to laugh. Additionally, he was very active with his grandchildren, always wanting to be with them, attending many of their events and quickly becoming their biggest fan. “Pop,” as his grandchildren called him, could fix anything. Left to cherish Glenn’s memory are his daughters: Vickie (David) Baker, Susan (David) Price, Pamela (John) Dawson, Trudy (Scott) Campbell. Grandchildren: Ryan (Brittany) Baker, Chad (Danette) Baker, Lee Baker, Krista Faulkner, Robert (Marissa) Shallcross, Jacob (Rachel) Dawson, Emily (Joe) Barnhouse, Ethan (Marisa) Dawson, Amanda (Dan) Reed, Morgan (Josh) Smith, along with 23 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving are three brothers: Jack Pease, Ronald (Betty) Pease, Joseph (Kathi) Pease, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bill and Naomi Wolfe, and sister-in-law, Beverly Pease. There are also many nieces and nephews that will miss him greatly. The family would also like to thank Judy and Peg for their love and support when caring for Glenn. In compliance with Ohio State Regulations and in connection with the COVID-19 public health crisis, a memorial service will be held with proper social distancing Monday, July 20, at the First Free Methodist Church, 16260 St. Clair Ave. East Liverpool at 11:00 am with Pastor Dave Quillen officiating. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to First Free Methodist Church. Please share a memory with Glenn’s family or send a Hug from Home at www.grecohertnick.com
