Gloria Lee Hartman

Gloria Lee Hartman of Weirton passed away peacefully at the Weirton Medical Center on Saturday, May 28, 2022. She was 89 years old.
She was born in Eldersville, WV., on September 20, 1933, a daughter of Joseph and Pearl (Sally) Zengvel.
Gloria was a member of Saint Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church a graduate of Weir School and worked for many years at the Weirton Medical Center as a dietary aide.
Her family describes Gloria as a very giving person, she enjoyed sewing, knitting, arts and crafts, and singing.
In addition to her parents, Gloria was preceded in death by her first husband Wayne Harkins, second husband John Hartman, sister Virginia Graham, and an infant brother.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons Matt and Wayne Harkins both of Weirton, and sister Frances Corey of Claysville, PA.
Services for Mrs. Hartman will be Private.

She was an amazing aunt and I’ll hold onto her memory all my life. She was one of a kind and will be missed by all that loved her. She always said my sisters and I were the daughters she never had. So glad I got to say goodbye to you in the hospital. Love a love Aunt Bird and dog my cats!

Wayne and Matt I feel so fortunate to have been able to call her (mom) and still do. She will always have a special place in my heart. I love you both.
I worked at Kroger’s when Gloria was a Demo there. She was so sweet and always smiling! She had her step-son send me and my husband autographed pictures when he was in the band and I’ll always remember her for that thoughtful gesture! May she rest in peace….
